My college roommate Julia came to visit us while at my Dad's over Christmas...I just love how Emmalee looks...so adorable looking straight into the camera!

Visiting my best friend Rachel in Winder, Georgia on our way to my Dad's house for Christmas. Rachel's 9 mo old Sadie Claire unfortunately was napping when we decided to take pics.

Emmalee starred in her first acting role as Baby Jesus at our church Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. Steve played Joseph and I, Mary of course. Emmalee was so good, but needed her froggie pacifer (the green thing).

Emmalee's Dedication to God

Sunday December 7, 2008 Emmalee Rae was dedicated at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. Even though it was a short ceremony, it was sweet. As Christians, Steve and I wanted to dedicate her to the Lord and to proclaim that we will do our best to raise her up to be a Christian woman her loves and fears the Lord. She looked so beautiful in her white dress! My dad and her Godfather, Phil were able to be there as well.

When Emmalee was 8 days old we had our friend Stephen Kinstler of Virginia Beach Portrait Photography take newborn and Christmas pictures of us and Emmalee. It was fun, but tiring at the same time....Emmalee was tuckered out and mad by the end of the 4 hours. The proofs are online at:
